The Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement Training Institute (PACSETI) Learning Management System (LMS) uses a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system to manage permissions to specific pages and pieces of content. These are system groupings and users should not confuse them with Job Titles (e.g. – Enforcement: Manager/Supervisor). PACSETI LMS roles do not directly relate to what you do for your employer; they define what you can access within the PACSETI LMS. The primary PACSETI LMS roles used by DRS employees are:
- Director (each DRS Office must have one).
- Training Coordinator
- Supervisor
- Participant
- Guest

PACSETI LMS Role Permissions
Note: The use of the Training Coordinator and Supervisor roles will vary with the needs of the individual DRS offices. The PACSETI LMS added these roles to provide access to features that would make it easier for each office to have personnel that can proactively address the training needs of the employees. Offices with fewer personnel may not need to have anyone assigned the supervisor role because the director or training coordinator can manage the employees. The use of these roles should be at the discretion of the director and with the goal of making it easier for all concerned to fulfill the training needs of the staff.
For further information on supervisors, please see the articles found under Supervisor Management category.
